Just like the orginal games only better | | Chad from Chattanooga, TN says (23/Jun/2004): | I had to get this game the first day. I love it. Orginial graphics and gameplay, once you get used to the PS2/GC controller, which can be a little akward at times.
It has the added benefit of autosave, which comes in handy especially on MM 1 which did not have a password or save feature on the orginial NES version. It also adds the option of Easy Mode, which seems to lessen the damage done by enemies, but I'm not really sure what it does.
Navi mode adds pointers throughout the games that let you know which way to go, in case you've forgotten in the last 15 years where Dr. Wily is hiding. :)
You can even change the number of lives you start with from 3 to 5.
The secrets are the part you buy the game for, though, especially if you, like me, have the orginal NES carts lying around your house.
I wish I could review them, but I haven't got that far yet!
Having all 8 Classic Mega-Games on one disc is worth the price. The secrets and extras are just that - extra.
A+!
