I must say, I am a Dragonball Z fan. I am a 26 year old man who cant stand many cartoons, but getting into DBZ, "Its a male soap opera". It Blew me away when we got a taste of what Japan has been keeping from us for many years. Now to experiance the DBZ/GT sagas are outstanding. Budokai 3, blasted me away when I first rented it. The day i had to return it I had my Mom buy it for me.(What can I say Im broke and have alot of kids, a late X-mas present....I was pretty desperate to get this game)Now owning this game and seen how it blown Budokai 1 and 2 away. I feel my life is complete. I give this Game a 10 all the way. If you own the first two Budokais, trade it in for 3. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED. I cant wait to see what Dragonball Z Sagas Evolutions will bring us when it is released in March 2005. But it makes me wonder if DBZ will ever convert to GT Budokai. If you have not gotin a taste of Budokai 3 yet, your taste buds will be disapointed and Goku shall slap you. DBZ 4 Life.

All in all, I think Budakia 3 is the best DBZ game ever. Its grafics are really awsome. If you want to get SS4 Goku with silver hair, here is what you do. In duel or practice mode, select Goku. Make sure all of his clothes are blue. The equipt SS4 Goku to his skill lis, or breakthrough . when you turn SS4, you should have silver hair. My favorite character has got to be either Broly or SS4 Gogeta. Its hard to decide who is cooler. Speaking of Cooler, is it posible to get metal Cooler? Ive been trying to get him for a month. Anyways, If you are a DBZ fan, you should defignately buy DBZ budakia 3. Metal Cooler and SS Vegeta are the only characters I dont have. If someone knows how to get them, let me know.

Anyone who loves DBZ to death will LOVE this game. Jam-packed with over 40 characters from DBZ, DBZ movies, and even DBGT, and even flying ALL OF THE TIME. The DBGT Characters: S.S.4 Goku, S.S.4 Vegeta, if you have those two, you will need the fusion version of those two in fusion form in S.S.4., right, well, you got it! S.S.4 Gogeta is here, with his kick-ass move, 100% Big Bang KaMeHaMeHa! S.S.4 Goku was said to be a seperate character, said on MANY DBZ websites...LIE!!!!!!!!!!! S.S.4 Goku is SO not a seperate character! you can become him in regular form, S.S., S.S.2, S.S.3, and go straight to the unbeliveable strength of S.S.4!!! The other fusion characters are Gotenks, and S.S.2 Gogeta, from DBZ Movie 12. Bascially, you got every fusion from DBZ-DBGT That acually FIGHTS! (Kibitokai not avalable) But, you CAN, somehow, get the Supreme Kai. I never got him, though. The fighting is awsome! when it says "Recreates the lightning speed of DBZ" on the Budokai 3 box, they ain't lying! GET THIS GAME!!!!!!!

This game is so awesome! I baught it I have unlocked all characters exept the saibamen, There are super saiyan 4's Cooler and Broly!!! A legendary Super saiyan, Frieza's Brother, Super saiyan 4's, guys from gt, bardock, many new features, you get to fly around the map instead of in budokai 2 just using little pegs to run or in budokai 1 where it automatically brings you somewhere, even GT fusions such as Gogeta super saiyan 4 Omega Shenron and many more awesome kick A$$ characters, I like this game a lot I was suprised when Broly was in the game I was so happy he is my favorite character plus I PWN with him,, the only flaw I saw in the game was they called Frieza Freiza at one point I just said so... which spelling is it? For anyone who voted 1 is probabley someone who can't beat it, this game can be challenging and I love challenges I had a TOUGH time unlocking Broly and Cooler and forever to unlock Uub and without Uub I cannot get to, this game is so awesome, It has had top flight reviews like from game spot 8.96 and thats a pro's rating this game has awesome new moves more super saiya-jin's better storyline and kick A$$ graphics and moves, like kicking someone through the air and teleporting dragon rush mode the new defense system, many new characters, I can't think of any way this game can be any more perfect, it is what any DBZ collector could want.
Graphics : 10/10 A little better then Budokai 2 I can see they worked very hard to make this game.
Sound Effects : 10/10 They add some cool music and many explosions and even kick sounds and yells.
Story Mode : 10/10 Well you can gather dragonballs get wishes and control yourself and alternate red blips to go to.
Challenging : 10/10 can get annoying at times but I love challenges...
Characters : 10/10 MANY characters that include Cooler and Broly,
Overall : 10+/10 Best game I have bought in the last 5 years.
Many people may know me from the idiot who rated pikmin games and talked about how to get them and stuff I have changed since then though.

This game was just great, i played it the first day and was not really into it, but then I played again and it got kind of addictive. I beat the game in about a weak. It is hard as hell to beat though. There are the easy characters to unlock like teen gohan, gohan, dabura, vegeta, friza, and all of the buu's. Then there are harder people like cooler, hercule, uub, and omega shenron. The graphics are totally kick ass. Even if you are not a dbz fan i think you would like this game. I mean, you go into dragon ball GT alsoand get ss4 goku, ss4 vegeta, and ss4 gogeta. You also get Omega Shenron. I really have only had the game for seven days and i think that supreme kai was the hardest person to unlock only because i didnt know how to get him until like the third time i beat the game with gohan. People say broly is the best but i dont think so, he needs better moves, but anyway the game is just totally awesome no other games that have just recently came out can even touch this game maybe exept for mercenaries because i like blowing the living crap out of things and blowing the living crap out of things some more, this is the most funnest game of last year probably and i give it a 10 out of 10 just because its fun, its tough, its confusing, and you beat the crap out of peopl:}G-UNIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dragon ball z budoki 3 is at least better than budoki 2.I think that the best part about it is that you are able to become a ss4.The reason why i didnt give it ten out of ten is that it is too easy and quick to complete dragon universe and the reason i gave it over 5 out of ten is that you are able to unlock deadly characters so if youre asking me ill tell ya to get the game.so thanks for reading this.by the best gamer ever.p.s.who ever made this game must be proud.

This game is fantastic. I thought budokai 1 was fantastic when it came out, but budokai 3 blows it away with fantastic graphics and awesome energy attacks. It has the widest range of characters then any other dbz game to date. I have gotten all of the characters besides saibaman and cell junior, but hey who want those little creeps anyway. This game not only has characters from dbz but also 2 characters from dbgt.(gogeta and omega shenron). If you can only play one game this year this is the game I would choose to play. I am not usually into fighting games, but when it comes to a game like this anyone would love it especially dragonball z fans. IT should of won 2004 best game of the year it was so good. I loved so much. it has a amazing fighting system that would just blew me away. Of course that is just what I think you may not even like the game it all stands upon opinion, but going with my opinion this is one of the best games ever. If you need any help on getting characters contact me and I would be more than willing to help.

if you want to find broly you will have to go to the part were the dessert and mountains meet .there u will meet kabuto kai he will tell you something. do this before u fight super buu and after u fight him inside himself there will a marker in a differnt place than it should.Note:it has to be in the buu saga
and you must fight as goku PS make sure you have super sayin 3

I got Dragonball z budokai 3 on christmas and boy does it suck! NOT!!! What am I saying its the best game i've ever played in my life! The graphics! are amazing! I love Dragon rush! Plus! the more transformations you do the more KI energy you can contain!
For once it actually tells the dragonball z story! However I can't stand the fact that NON! of the Budokai games have included where Frieza gets cut in half by the disc's he fires at goku in dragonball z! Thats why goku gives frieza his ki, so frieza can at least try and escape! But what am i talking about! I love the game so thats all that matters! P.S America rules! i'm only from the U.K! OH! by the way you French idiots SUCK!

DBZ Budokai3 is the coolest but saddly pan is not in it!When i played this game at first it was a killer i LOVED the game as soon as i played it graphics,chars,levels its amazing its litteraly the best game ive ever played. but saddly once again Still no PAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont disslike any of the chars but i think all of the charecters should have the same DU but diifferent areas etc. the game is perfect my friends and i laugh at the other games attempting to b as good they all SUCK!! DBZ Bodukai series have been a mazing but DBZ Budokai 3 is the Grand master off the games. i love DBZ and im a huge fan and i hope they continue the series DBZ is the Best and always will be ( yes im still dissapointed about no PAN!! lol) Peace out!

This game is far out this game is one of the games with good graphics and sounds. The thing that makes this one better than the first two is that on the first and second one when you 100% full power freiza still looks the same as before, but in the third one freiza looks different when he is on 100% full power. And you can go super saiyan 4 and you can be gogeta. I am glad you can be cooler, bardock, uub, kid goku, and broly. Another cool thing is the forms for freiza like second form, third form, final form, and 100% final form. Also the forms for cooler like firs form, second form, and metallic form, which I still don't know how to get.

Okay, so I have seen all of the Dragonball episodes and I know what happens. However, the way the game tells it I am left wondering if what I saw on the episodes matches up with the game. Oh yeah, what is with not having Bebi, Vegeta-Bebi, or Super 17. I mean that was a huge part of Dragonball GT. It would also be cool if you could go through the DBGT storyline and fight all of the evil Dragons, not just have a showdown with Omega Shenron randomly as Goku and vegeta learn how to go ssj4 and fuse. Also, the annoying thing about this game is the fact that in very hard mode, the computer can start a death move and you can move to counter and out of nowhere the com will teleport behind you and completely blindside you.
I think the graphics are great in the fighting parts, but the way you can fly right over a red dot or sparkle on the ground and it won't register is kind of annoying. The sound is good and does not get boring. As for the gameplay, the combo system can be very complicated. The most I have ever gotten in a combo is about 20 hits with Goku (not using Dragon Rush).
Overall, this is a major step in the right direction at allowing more people to get involved in Dragonball Z that have no idea about the anime. Improvements could be made in the length of Goku's storyline and I thought it was weird how adult Gohan did not fight Broly like in the movie. Oh yeah, it would be cool to play as teen Trunks and go through the story of him receiving his sword. Anyway, great game, but needs more story after the Buu Saga (b/c there is a whole other series that deals with Goku and Pan. Some people might disagree, but after the first 10 episodes of DBGT, GT is way better than DBZ ever was).

ive unlocked broly omega shenron videl bardok collerdr gero androids 16,17,18 cell,friza,both trunks all gohons including great saiman,nappa,recoome,ginyu,kid goku,raditzand a couple others the ones i know that are on the game i cant figure out how UBB and hurcle are unlocked can anyone send me an emial telling me how to do this my bigest concern is unlocking ubb and does anyone have a complete list of all the actual characters? 10/10 graphics 10/10 gameplay i wish dragonuniverse was more in depth i love the fact that they brought in everyone transformations i wish theyd bring back some characters like zarbon and and andriod 19. this game rocks you gotta check it out!!! kyle.kizer< remove me > at us.army.mil

This games is the BESSTT......the first time i played it it rocked it takes budokai 1 and 2 away and crushes it. budokai 3 is the best you get to fly around, turn into ss4 goku,vegeata, ss4 gogeta, and a whole lot of other stuff GET IT!!! i (perfer) you get this game..it is the best in the world i say 10/10 graphics 10/10 story 10/10 everything! If you hate this game then you are a wierdo.I played this game for 10 hours straight after that i was tired.Just get this game it rocks!!!

I'm a DBZ fan and I have EVERY DBZ game there is from Super Butoden on snes to Hyper Dimension, PSone games everything DBZ GT. This game is so cool I play it all the time! When you want to play as Goku in a certain SSJ level you can, no more having to play UB22 for SSJ3, no more having to play Final Bout just to play as SSJ4 it's there just turn Goku into what you want!!!!! The SSJ4s are amazing and so is SSJ4 Gogeta. If there ever was supposed to be a good DBZ game, this is it!!!!

When your fighting kid buu (you only fight him once) use super spirit make sure it kills him.then you wait and instead of ending the game you have to go to the world tournament.P.s. you can use super spirit bomb by either being kaioken or just regular goku.thats how you get uub. in the early begging of gokus story mode go to grandpa gokus then you'll get kid goku. its that easy.After defeating raditz go and find his circle space ship and you'll see three question marks on the top right screen of your t.v. press x and then you get bardock. that's it.

do du with goku without doing the z balls and pick ups go straight to the battles and at the end u will able to go and fight uub and u will be able to unlock him.if u want any more info leave a message on ere ok.uub is gd and is worth it so go and get them peeps it is really easy but he is quite hard.the i did it is none stop attacking him and dodging and teleing behind him and whacking him before he had a chance but make sure ure back stays back to the wall r els u will get kiked out really easy by him .he has 2 moves they quite lethal and if he uses he glowing thing were they go all red it really hard to pull a fast one on him then.

i have had budokai 3 4 about 4 month now n i ave got all the characters including kid goku saibamen and cell juniors. ss4 goku is the best his 10 x kamehamaha is brill and ss4 vegetas final shine is just a quicker version of his final flash wich may i add is a great move aswell. i fink brolly is to slow but his moves are awesome wen he turns into the legendary super saiyan. goten is the best fighter 4 me in terms of quickness bcause i am the ultimate warrior who shows no mercy to anyone i destroyed omega shenron in about 15 secs and still had all bars of life left. the graphics are the best ever and i have heard that there making a new budokai game 4 ps2. ss4 gogeta needs more moves if he is going to be a gd fighter but his moves are the bomb, 100 x bigbangkamehameha is the best move in the game by far. to get uub u have to beat kid buu with a spirit bomb on gokus du and ther is a continuation and from there evrythin starts like gettin the ss4 capsule 4 goku in the south east on the small islands then on the 2nd time through after u c gohan being absorbed by buu sense for power and u shud find hercule rite near there then go to the dot but dont go on it then go sw ov the dot n u shud find tien unconscious then search near there for mountains then talk to supreme kai and fight the fusion fight with super buu then wen going to fight kid buu vegeta tells u he will hold buu off while u investigate the power (brolly) then defeat him and u will get his capsule after u beat him goku finds a note asking him to have a fusion fight at the world tournament after u win that omega shenron appears at central city and u fight him as ss4 gogeta any1 else who needs info on how to get characters rite a review n i will answer ur question.

*cough and clears throat* this game rocks and i have most of the characters and was wonderiong if u need any of the kind of hard to get ones first one is easy bardock all u need to do is on gokus DU any of the times u go round (preferably after second time) u will find a saiyan space pod go in there and u will get it orrr if u have budokai 2 u might get him from that because u get some stuff from budokai 2 memory for sum reason i only got that x VV thing ... babidi's pot so there r 3 things u can get from it babidi's pot,bardock capsules and silver membership card now how u get normal cooler u get him by beating final form freezer first time then 3 dots will apear go to the one under u and u will fight ssj vegeta beat him then fiight cooler beat him and get his capsule but how do u get metal cooler i have tried all 3 dots cos i have gone through goku's DU loads of times and can't get metal cooler and they r practicly the kinjd of secret ones o yes i can't find brolly i tried looking for him after i beat super buu in his belly and look near the mountains and the sands connect and nothing so i searched all round the map and found nothing i just couldn't find brolly on my one i went to my freinds house and found brolly on his second time through we did but this was like my 6th time round does that mean i can't do it ? and how do i get omega shenron,ssj4 vegeta(if u can),gogeta in all forms available,gotenks and brolly for real and any other characters that u can unlock but i have already got the basic characters u get through everyones DU including uub so can u please help thank u.o yeh and to get uub just beat buu with super spirit bomb and win the analog thing and to do the super spirit bomb charge to around 6 ki gauges just in case then press L2 and go the closest to him and hold L2 on him anmd nit will break his defence and launch the move
