I got Dragonball z budokai 3 on christmas and boy does it suck! NOT!!! What am I saying its the best game i've ever played in my life! The graphics! are amazing! I love Dragon rush! Plus! the more transformations you do the more KI energy you can contain!
For once it actually tells the dragonball z story! However I can't stand the fact that NON! of the Budokai games have included where Frieza gets cut in half by the disc's he fires at goku in dragonball z! Thats why goku gives frieza his ki, so frieza can at least try and escape! But what am i talking about! I love the game so thats all that matters! P.S America rules! i'm only from the U.K! OH! by the way you French idiots SUCK!

if you want to find broly you will have to go to the part were the dessert and mountains meet .there u will meet kabuto kai he will tell you something. do this before u fight super buu and after u fight him inside himself there will a marker in a differnt place than it should.Note:it has to be in the buu saga
and you must fight as goku PS make sure you have super sayin 3
because he is very hard to fight if any one knews how to find uub please review it on this website.goodluck

Dragon ball z budoki 3 is at least better than budoki 2.I think that the best part about it is that you are able to become a ss4.The reason why i didnt give it ten out of ten is that it is too easy and quick to complete dragon universe and the reason i gave it over 5 out of ten is that you are able to unlock deadly characters so if youre asking me ill tell ya to get the game.so thanks for reading this.by the best gamer ever.p.s.who ever made this game must be proud.

This game is fantastic. I thought budokai 1 was fantastic when it came out, but budokai 3 blows it away with fantastic graphics and awesome energy attacks. It has the widest range of characters then any other dbz game to date. I have gotten all of the characters besides saibaman and cell junior, but hey who want those little creeps anyway. This game not only has characters from dbz but also 2 characters from dbgt.(gogeta and omega shenron). If you can only play one game this year this is the game I would choose to play. I am not usually into fighting games, but when it comes to a game like this anyone would love it especially dragonball z fans. IT should of won 2004 best game of the year it was so good. I loved so much. it has a amazing fighting system that would just blew me away. Of course that is just what I think you may not even like the game it all stands upon opinion, but going with my opinion this is one of the best games ever. If you need any help on getting characters contact me and I would be more than willing to help.

This game was just great, i played it the first day and was not really into it, but then I played again and it got kind of addictive. I beat the game in about a weak. It is hard as hell to beat though. There are the easy characters to unlock like teen gohan, gohan, dabura, vegeta, friza, and all of the buu's. Then there are harder people like cooler, hercule, uub, and omega shenron. The graphics are totally kick ass. Even if you are not a dbz fan i think you would like this game. I mean, you go into dragon ball GT alsoand get ss4 goku, ss4 vegeta, and ss4 gogeta. You also get Omega Shenron. I really have only had the game for seven days and i think that supreme kai was the hardest person to unlock only because i didnt know how to get him until like the third time i beat the game with gohan. People say broly is the best but i dont think so, he needs better moves, but anyway the game is just totally awesome no other games that have just recently came out can even touch this game maybe exept for mercenaries because i like blowing the living crap out of things and blowing the living crap out of things some more, this is the most funnest game of last year probably and i give it a 10 out of 10 just because its fun, its tough, its confusing, and you beat the crap out of peopl:}G-UNIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is so awesome! I baught it I have unlocked all characters exept the saibamen, There are super saiyan 4's Cooler and Broly!!! A legendary Super saiyan, Frieza's Brother, Super saiyan 4's, guys from gt, bardock, many new features, you get to fly around the map instead of in budokai 2 just using little pegs to run or in budokai 1 where it automatically brings you somewhere, even GT fusions such as Gogeta super saiyan 4 Omega Shenron and many more awesome kick A$$ characters, I like this game a lot I was suprised when Broly was in the game I was so happy he is my favorite character plus I PWN with him,, the only flaw I saw in the game was they called Frieza Freiza at one point I just said so... which spelling is it? For anyone who voted 1 is probabley someone who can't beat it, this game can be challenging and I love challenges I had a TOUGH time unlocking Broly and Cooler and forever to unlock Uub and without Uub I cannot get to, this game is so awesome, It has had top flight reviews like from game spot 8.96 and thats a pro's rating this game has awesome new moves more super saiya-jin's better storyline and kick A$$ graphics and moves, like kicking someone through the air and teleporting dragon rush mode the new defense system, many new characters, I can't think of any way this game can be any more perfect, it is what any DBZ collector could want.
Graphics : 10/10 A little better then Budokai 2 I can see they worked very hard to make this game.
Sound Effects : 10/10 They add some cool music and many explosions and even kick sounds and yells.
Story Mode : 10/10 Well you can gather dragonballs get wishes and control yourself and alternate red blips to go to.
Challenging : 10/10 can get annoying at times but I love challenges...
Characters : 10/10 MANY characters that include Cooler and Broly,
Overall : 10+/10 Best game I have bought in the last 5 years.
Many people may know me from the idiot who rated pikmin games and talked about how to get them and stuff I have changed since then though.

Anyone who loves DBZ to death will LOVE this game. Jam-packed with over 40 characters from DBZ, DBZ movies, and even DBGT, and even flying ALL OF THE TIME. The DBGT Characters: S.S.4 Goku, S.S.4 Vegeta, if you have those two, you will need the fusion version of those two in fusion form in S.S.4., right, well, you got it! S.S.4 Gogeta is here, with his kick-ass move, 100% Big Bang KaMeHaMeHa! S.S.4 Goku was said to be a seperate character, said on MANY DBZ websites...LIE!!!!!!!!!!! S.S.4 Goku is SO not a seperate character! you can become him in regular form, S.S., S.S.2, S.S.3, and go straight to the unbeliveable strength of S.S.4!!! The other fusion characters are Gotenks, and S.S.2 Gogeta, from DBZ Movie 12. Bascially, you got every fusion from DBZ-DBGT That acually FIGHTS! (Kibitokai not avalable) But, you CAN, somehow, get the Supreme Kai. I never got him, though. The fighting is awsome! when it says "Recreates the lightning speed of DBZ" on the Budokai 3 box, they ain't lying! GET THIS GAME!!!!!!!

All in all, I think Budakia 3 is the best DBZ game ever. Its grafics are really awsome. If you want to get SS4 Goku with silver hair, here is what you do. In duel or practice mode, select Goku. Make sure all of his clothes are blue. The equipt SS4 Goku to his skill lis, or breakthrough . when you turn SS4, you should have silver hair. My favorite character has got to be either Broly or SS4 Gogeta. Its hard to decide who is cooler. Speaking of Cooler, is it posible to get metal Cooler? Ive been trying to get him for a month. Anyways, If you are a DBZ fan, you should defignately buy DBZ budakia 3. Metal Cooler and SS Vegeta are the only characters I dont have. If someone knows how to get them, let me know.

I must say, I am a Dragonball Z fan. I am a 26 year old man who cant stand many cartoons, but getting into DBZ, "Its a male soap opera". It Blew me away when we got a taste of what Japan has been keeping from us for many years. Now to experiance the DBZ/GT sagas are outstanding. Budokai 3, blasted me away when I first rented it. The day i had to return it I had my Mom buy it for me.(What can I say Im broke and have alot of kids, a late X-mas present....I was pretty desperate to get this game)Now owning this game and seen how it blown Budokai 1 and 2 away. I feel my life is complete. I give this Game a 10 all the way. If you own the first two Budokais, trade it in for 3. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED. I cant wait to see what Dragonball Z Sagas Evolutions will bring us when it is released in March 2005. But it makes me wonder if DBZ will ever convert to GT Budokai. If you have not gotin a taste of Budokai 3 yet, your taste buds will be disapointed and Goku shall slap you. DBZ 4 Life.

Dragonball z is the best budokai game yet the graphics are great gameplay is great,sound is great,and pretty much every thing else is great.You can get Brolly,goku,vegeta,cooler,bardock,cell,majin buu,krillen,gohan,omega shenron,uub,android 17,android 18,dr.gero,trunks,goten,yamcha,tien,raditz,,racoome and a few more if you like dragon ballz or dragon ball gt you will love this game.You can also get ss4 goku or ss4 vegeta or ss4 fusion.You can buy skills for your charactor .The game modes are awesome like dragon univese or world turnament and if you beat dragon universe with every charactor you will unlock dragon arena witch you can train your charactor to get a higher level.There are other game modes but I just named a few.But you can buy this game for a very high price but it's worth the money.

Well To basically start if u were hesitating about buying this game DONT! i knw DBZ budokai 1 and 2 were a bit sketchy i know personally for starters u all love the Super Saiayn levelling up right? and it was a bit of a drag that depleting so fast in them among many other lil snitches BUT DBZ Budokai 3 they really got their act together Graphics 9/10 u want find it any closer to the cartoon origins as this every move they make sequence lives and breaths the cartoon ull feel like u really are Goku and Vegeta!! gameplay 10/10 fo realz i couldnt believe the knew tweaks ill only mention 2 but the hyper mode and dragon rush allows u to send a devasting sequence of attacks WHICH the opposing enemy can counter if he hits the exact button u chose as a pre-requisite which will nullify and stop the rush attack ALSO the beam challenge omg u loved the stand off between Vegata (gallick gun) vs goku( kamehameha wave) and SS level 2 gohan (teen) vs Super complete Cell Kamehameha stand off well u can carbon copy that to this game with a simple whose got the best rotation skills with the L3 and R3 or button mashin speeds to win the stand off the Life Period 10/10 ill end it here to state that u can play this game and re live the DBZ saga's all over again it incorporates the TV episodes and movie as well with good side quests which open up numerous other endings/characters/hidden items also u can play against ur friends i know me and my mates think this will be a platinum one in our draws forever so dont miss out guys! this has all ur DBZ greats (my preference to greats) Goku Trunks Vegeta Gogeta/Gogeta SS4 Gotenks Gohan( 3 stages of his life) Brolly and much much more DBZ FANS THIS IS A MUST FOR THE PS2 CABINET!! thankyou for reading my review final review graphics: 9/10 Gameplay 10/10 Life Duration : 10/10 rate me thanx %^_^%

iv onlocked all the good guys but not uub iv beat brolys story mode iv beaten it with all the charactors but i cant unlock omega shenron aloso iv onlocked cooler to unlock cooler just do story with goku or vegeta a few times but this game rocks!! This game has a way better story thing then buidiki 2 and 1 ihope i help you good i want to say that this game is so awsome i give this game 2 thumbs up i hope ill find a revew to help me out and i got this game on christmas

Well like everyone says this is by far the best dragonballz game to date. True fans of he anime like myself will definitely be satisfied with the money spent for this awesome title but unfortunately, yes ofcourse theres always a but, theres still some things that might frustrate you or even work your nerves a quite a bit. For example the best thing ive found about this game so far is the fact that you can do just about anything in the game that youve seen in the show but for some odd reason YOU STILL DO NOT HAVE FREE FLIGHT!!! HELLLLLOOOO I mean come on you would think they would've added that by now. Having to double dash backwards and push up IS NOT FREE FLIGHT like ive heard many people say. Can you fly up or down or even over your opponents head to the rear of them, no you cant. I believe the ability to do so wouldve brought a whole new fighting experience to the game. Another thing is that when you first start playing the dragonrushes look pretty cool but after a while of seeing it over and over it gets to the point where your like ok come on get this move over with and lets get back to fighting, especially since the character does the same three moves every dragonrush. Instead of just trying to guess what button your opponent would push next they shouldve made each button do a different move giving you more control during the rush, and addin more flexibilty to the overall move. And when your playing the computer on the harder levels the computer constantly stays in dragonrush mode so in order for your attacks to connect you have to do either do the same or just dodge and block till the computer runs out of energy, which can be pretty difficult in the harder levels. Im sorry even though I hate to bash something I love so dearly I have to call it like i see it (or play it), the story mode sucks!!! I mean PLEEAAASE people this is playstation2, surely they couldve done more than just those stiff cardboard looking pics with with the voices and sound fx in the background. I mean there mouths didnt even move. Unless youve already seen the entire series your stuck constantly torturing yourself listening to the sound fx trying to visualize what was currently happening. Not only that but im sure im not the only one who wouldve liked to play the story mode with more than just the few characters they allowed. But then on the other hand the ability to have ACTUALL FREE FLIGHT and go to different places and find things and even use the famous dragon radar was pretty cool. If the arenas that you actually do the fighting in were designed like the worlds in the story mode with the way you could fly anywhere and face in any direction I believe the rating for this game could possibly go through the roof!!! And last but not least when your editing skills the potara earrings take up the ALL slots. So if you use them for Goku or Vegeta unless you use them right away to transform youll have absolutley no moves. But please dont let my point of view discourage you from buying the game its still a great game. Like I said before you can do just about anything they can in the show. The new arenas are great along with a new soundtrack thats awesome my fav is the music in the supreme kais world and the city area. The new cell animation graphics are very good with new and better combos including the old ones. All of the characters have been added. Even though im still trying to figure what the hell is that big bubble thing Frieza creates everytime he transforms??? You can now use trunks sword and also Daburas which is lightning fast. And their cutaway scenes where someone is knocked far into the distance is alot better. Hopefully with the next DragonballZ title we'll see even more improvements. Good job Atari!!! :)

i played all the the dragonballz games including the dragonball gt seris but this is the best yet i got this on christmas day and finished it on christmas day i put ur suppersaiyan power to level and use 10xkakaha it to suppersaiyan4 and final flash see the world being distroyed as u fight fight in the ragonball z areana custormize ur warior and make him ultimate warrior be gokus dad gun or bardock brolli futuere trumks gt.saiyan man videletc coooler androde freaza as u battle it out this has to be the end to my iter of this awsome i got to go play it syanara

BUDOKAI 3 IS HERE! This game is off the hook people,i played it for 15 hours straight when i first bought it i couldn't get enough. The dragon rushes and the Ultimate attacks are really kool espicially SSJ4 Gogeta's Big Bang 100X Kamehameha where he kicks you in the air laughs and rushes at the opponent, the opponent then blocks only to realize gogeta is behind him saying"I'm here" then the opponent lets go like 15 punches and kicks at gogeta but none does damage gogeta laughs again and cuffs him just like on the movie GT and then he goes in the air and reasons:
Big Bannnnnnnnnnggggggggg KA ME Ha Me HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! and blows u and a chunk fo the earth off the map, where that stage becomes destroyed. Its cool not to mention when u do a dragon rush for e.g with Goku if u successfully perform his dragonrush he does a warp kamehameha where he licks u down to teh ground and you let go a blast then he says kame(then diaapears next to you and finishes the move right in your face) [lol he must think u needed a close up]. Did i mention there are over 40 characters including Goku's dad Bardok, Broly, Metal Cooler, Mecha Freever, SSJ4 Goku and SSJ4 Vegeta. This game is definitely good. All i'm waiting for now is Naruto for ps2.

I just got dragonball z budokai 3 yesterday and when i played it i loved it has brolly gogeta ssj4 goku and vegeta omega shenron bordock and my favourite z fighter uub from kamahameha to spirit bomb this game is incredible but it is pretty hard to fight the computer i beat the game with goku vegeta all the gohans and now i am playin story mode with krillin usually when u play a game alot u get bord of it but with me and this game i am jus getting started i would rate the graphics 5.5 the sound 4.5 the game play 5.5 and the story mode 5.5 i reccomend this game to any gamer even if u dunt like fighting games trust me try this it might change ur mind if u need any help in this game e-mail me

I played this game for hours and unlocked all kinds of stuff but you will find it difficult to un lock the advanced in world tournament. For those that want broli you have to play dragon univerce with goku 3 times right before the last fight with kid buu you and vegeta will sence a stronger energy and then you will fight broly. By the way the moves for fusion (gogeta)&(supersayin 4 gogeta) is off the hook yea what up super kammahma galactic gun times one hundred and there are three diffrent fusions between goku and vegeta great moves great characters and even angroid eighteen has some of krillins moves o yes how can we for get gokus dad bardok
