Not Nearly as Good as Kingdom hearts! | | Tommy from Broomfield, Colorado, USA says (10/Aug/2006): | I liked this game alot but it wasnt as good as kingdom hearts. I Know some of you might be thinking that I dont know that the sequal of anything is usually not as good as the original (in some cases it isnt) But in this case it is true.
The story was somewhat the same but in other ways it wasnt. Maybe i was thinking that it was going to be a continuance of kingdom hearts but with a small change. (The next sentence summerizes the story of kingdom hearts if you dont want to know).By with a small change i mean sora cant be seperated by kiri and riku again and Riku becomes part of Ansem and find out that sora has kiri's heart. They nead to make alittle change so they can call it "Kingdom Hearts 2" and not "Another Copy of Kingdom Hearts". Although im saying that they need a change to the story, i dont think they should change the style of the game this had less Disney and more... Aneme (most likely misspelled).
They are not just changed aneme characters with impossible to pronounce names, the game has a changed aneme style. For example, Long covering hundreds of feet in one jump jumps, twisty airborn attacks, and special powers that make the game way to easy. Some times i play it thinking That this cant be kingdom hearts 2 Particualy in the begging and end with Roxas and Zemnas or whatever his name is. I wouldnt mind if The only aneme parts were The organizacion 13 people and the Final Fantacy Characters Basicaly the Characters being aneme doest bother me as much as some of the fighting styles. Im at least happy they put in many more disney Worlds and characters.
Maybe i would have liked this game alot more if i wasnt expecting so much from it. I thought it was going to be so cool. So I was expecting to much from it so it was a let-down. I wasnt expecting much from kingdom hearts at first so it was better than i thought. This wasnt as good as i thought because i was expecting so much from it. Because of that this "8" might not be accurate. If your not expecting too much from it than you might think it is better maybe.If you didnt like the fist one very much because you expected alot from it there for thinking that the 2nd wont be good and having low standards for it. If you try it you might like it because It is way better than you thoght.
Im not trying to tell you that i dont like this game. All im trying to tell you my opinion that it was good but for spicific reasons, it is not as good as the First Kingdom Hearts. Its not like i gave it a 2 or a 5, i gave it an 8 witch is still really good. King dom hearts is my favorit PS2 game EVER!!! so i coulnt give it a ten once i game my favorit game a ten and i like only one other game than this one so thats why i gave it an "8".

Mabey for some people it was better but for me it wasnt. It wasnt like a whole diffrent game it just had a different style (especialy the end and begining). I thought this game was going to be alot harder than the first one. It was alot easier! It also was alot cheesier (meaning it had more cliche' parts). I like the New things you can do and new stuff that arent included in the first one. Although the new magic you can do makes the game WAY to easy. After playing Kingdom Hearts Alot, its hard to get used to the new gages and useind "Triangle" alot. I did like the game though, just not as much as KIngdom Hearts.
Im not the kind of person who likes aname(I'm not sure how you spell it) so I didnt like this game as much. I liked KH mostly because of the disney stuff. This game had alot of aname and square-enix and squaresoft and less Disney But KH had alot of Disney and less Squaresoft. If your a person who likes Aname and not so fond of Disney, You'll probably enjoy this game more but if your more like me than you will most likely agree with me. this game is mostly basted on trying to defeat all of the funny-named organization 13 guys. KH was mostly on defeating Disney villans. I didnt like this style as much (And I hated being Roxas).
Im just going to do a shorter paragraph about the Cliche' parts and save the easier part for the "Getting used to this game whith the weird Gages and triangles" paragraph. People who dont agree with me might also disagree with what I say here but Ill say it anyway. I think Aname tends to be alittle... cheesier. alot of cliche' parts happen with Riku. I really hate Cliche' stuff so that is one more reason why I think this isnt as good. I dont like those big imposible to do 300 feet long or high jumps with the little leg point thing. HATE 'EM!!!!
This Game was longer but WAY, WAY, WAY TO EASY (90%). One MAJOR reason was the Triangle overuse and Soras new clothes with "drive" powers. There helpful but if you dont want a chalenging fight, why get the game? the gages of life and stuff was diffrent but i got used to it(Not easiely).
I liked this game but it wasnt nearly as cool and fun as Kingdom Hearts. I wonder if the third kingdom Hearts will be better than the first one or way worst than the second one.

Ok, finally it's out.I was waiting forever!It's really worth the wait.The graphics are awsome,sound was better then the first,gameplay is one of the best,lifespan is normal,fun factor is the almost the highest(second to only God of War).The story is way better than the first one and so is the gameplay.The reaction commands really helped out the gameplay and the fun factor.I was glad that Riku was in your party at the end.I beat it and now I am trying to get the bonus video for Kingdom Hearts 3.The ending was shocking and i think they couldve made the last boss fight a little more challenging.But the Sephiroth battle filled up that space!My favorite world is Holloween Town just because it's Nightmare Before Christmas!Getting all the tornements cleared and getiing all of the synthesis notes is really hard but I can do it.

So this is one of the greatest games of all times!Plus, the forms really help you out and final is my favorite.Another plus is the limits with all the characters.Try to beat my score of with Tron of 343 hits.Well, thats my review and if no one likes Kingdom Hearts,well you can all kiss my a** ;)
