Dragonball Z 3 is the best!!! |

When I first played this game I was like wow! This is a really good game. It has good graphics, the way you get new characters like cooler and bardock!! Also your life, the way you can custimise it for every level you get. It's awsome. It just like one and two exept for that you are able to fly when you are doing Dragon Universe!! It's so awsome!! It has great sound and graphics and I don't know why anyone would rate this game lower than a 10!!! The moves are awsome too like suazer blade (for cooler) which is kind of like a sword to big bang kamahamaha (for gogeta)!! Not only are those things good but the transformations like ss4 and the moves for those like vegeta's ss4 move (replacing glaick gun) final shine and goku's ss4 move (replacing kamahamaha) 10x kamahamaha!! It's the best game ever!!
Oh ya and the ultimante attacks!! They are so cool because you keep hitting them until you block (hit the same button)!!! Of coarse you can't forget the voices!! The only bad voices are probly kid goku and Goku when in ss4, oh and in ss4 vegeta!!

(P.S.S. I have a litte hint for when you get it (if you do). To do the ultimante attack you need to press L2 or PKEG at the same time and to do the utimante attack you hit them in the air and right when you hit them in the air you need to Press E or else it doesn't work (and don't let it run out or else you will get fatigue)!!!)

The graphics are the best. I'ts always #-d. why did that put doddoria in the game??? he's useless. No good attack. They should've put a person from the Majjin saga in the game. the Game was created when the majjin saga was played. Maube put some movie char in the game like ord slug??????
the stroy mode is great. It is only up to the cell games.
here's some stuff to help u out:
Hercule: Play Adept tournament: U must have more than 2000 zennie.
Legends of Hercule mini game: Defeat the Adept tournament with Hercule.
Advanced mode: beat Adept tournament as Goku, Gohan , hercule or trunks.
Gt.saiyaman: Beat Advanced mode with Teen gohan.
Vegeta strory: Beat the game, then go to stroie mode and Pick 6th clip. U will be playing as Vegeta and Fighting goku, Gohan and krllion in sucession.
Piccolo v.s radditz: Beat the game, Come back to stroy mode, select saiyan saga , then pick the second video clip. u will be playing as piccolo againts raddittz, saibamen x3 and nappa.
Yamcha: beat Zarbon with Vegeta.
Super Vegeta: To unlock transformation, U need to beat Imperfect cell with ss Vegeta.
Trunks: Beat perfect cell using Super Vegeta.
Super trunks: Beat Imperfect Cell on Hard using only ss vegeta.
Super Trunks2: Beat Perfect Cell on hard only using Super Vegeta.
Super vegeta2: Beat Imperfcet Cell a second time on hard using only base Vegeta.
Power weighted Cell: Beat Cell on the last fight of the game with teen Gohan ss2 and using the Super kamehameha.

I am going to love number three in the Dbz Budokai series. I went on the Internet and found a secret sight that shows different previews of it. I found out you could play as Bardock. Finally!!!!!!!!! The thing I like about it is the story has more details and you also get to fly as the person that you use to battle with. You could also play with Broly. On the Screen shots Broly is very huge compared to goku. The coolest thing I like about is you could fly whenever you want to. You can't do any of those things in Budokai 1 or 2. At first when budokai 2 came out I thought it was going to be the greatest hit. When I played it I was like what the hell.I like budokai one better because it has the story even though it skips certain details. The most thing I would like that some body would put in a Budokai is that you could knock your opponent into space or fly your self to planet Vegeta or Planet Frieza. What I would also like is for them to change the continuous kamehameha. They should make the graphics so good that when you do the attack it looks like the one Vegeta did on Planet Namek.

This game is good like i mean the graphics and i like the way where they made the master roshi spin around it makes loading not as boring as other games. Also there are several bad points too first nearly everyone's attacks are the same and since when did cell have spirit bomb also the voices of the characters dont sound much like the actuall people in the episodes. I dont like the way they make things really hard to understand like the dragonballs and capsules and breakthroughs etc. Also there are too little allies available to you on each stage (max 3) in the actuall episode there are more than 3 fighters on 1 person well not at a time and since when is yamcha or tien equal as goku?????????? Also they make things too hard and it makes you wanna smash the tv when you loose or when something is actually impossible

I have played both Budokia one and two and they both have more good (cool) points than bad points. In Budokia 2 the graphics are more cartoony.There are some errors.Like when you pick Gohan as a ally he is a adult.He is supossed to be a kid and a teen for most of the game.I think the sound is kind of falty like volleyball fist and wolf fang volleyball fist.You can hardly uderstand Tien and Tiencha.I can understand why they give all the Majin Buus so much life but I just do not think it is fair.I like to test out the fusions.I already have all the fusions.I guess I can tell you who they are.The real fusions are Vegeto (Goku and Vegeta Patria earings)Kabitoshin (Kabito and Surpreme Kia Pataria earings) and Gotanks (Trunks and Gotin Fusion dance).The made up fusions are Gokule (Goku and Hercule Pataria earings)(can you believe it?)My favorite Tiencha (Tien and Yamcha Fusion Dance).My favorite move is Burning Slash even though it is hard to do. Over all I loved this game.My mom thinks I play to much.(That is because I like it!!!!!)

if this games graphics were better it would be perfect[well not exactly perfect]. the characters r awsome but they nearly blend in with the background and noone ever looks beaten up [no blood, torn shirts, or notin]but the moves r great and the diolouge is ok. the dragon balls shouldnt be bot thou i mean come on have u ever herd of someone selling a 1 way trip to easy street[exept on that episode of dragonball[althou he diddnt no it]].the ultimate moves r awsom like the hurcule special or big bang attack.just once thou i want to see a better zanku fist. the value of this should have started at $42.36 not $50.00.the sound in the game was great seeing as u can change it but its good any way.the fun was as good as any vidio games plus the exitement action and romace [ok no romance].the characters life span was really good not to small not to big its just rite.the originality was great seeing as it is the first budokai game and had notin to copy off of.the gameplay was awsome for noone can top it or be better than it

I can't believe that Goku can't transform into ss2. The transformation is to quick.When you transform they should show the rocks lifting of the ground and slowly turn to ss2.Vegeta is a fantastic player. DBZ cannot remove the 3d background which is fantastic.Some of the background was rubbish expecially the world class tournament. Buu and baby trunks and goten should be on budokai 1. Story mode is too short.You can't buy any uniforms in custom and you can't use trunks sword as a move.Dodoria is rubbish.The titles and dislay of writing is terrible.
tHE KAMEHAMEA IS NOT AFFECTED TO ANY PLAYER. YOU CAN FLY AT FREE WILL. bY THE WAY HOW DO YOU GET GOKU ON SS4. I've heard this cheat many times. Someone contact me and tell me.
The android saga is boring. Goku is so boring without ss2.
The duel battle should be much more exciting . When some beats you down and your on yellow life bar they should show your clothes ripped and dirt on your body. The players always are in good condition.I love freizas spaceship. It is wonderful she is the strongest player. Goku should have 3 selections like gohan. whwn he was small and ss3.
You can't fly at free will.i LOVE GOHAN SS2 HE'S MOVE SUPER KAMEHAMEHA.

Dragonball Z Budokia 2 is in my opinion one of the best games for the fighting genre of video games. It still has a few annoying bugs (mainly some of the characters seem to take every advantage to knock you out of the ring in the tournament mode) I mean yeah it's an easy way to proceed through the tournament and yeah it makes it more challenging when the other fighters use this tactic to take you out but they always seem to be one stepahead of you when they do use this tactic. Then you end up using half your life just to stay in the ring before you realize what's happening. Another small problom it has is the replay value that all fighting games have. Once you've beaten the levels, gotten the characters, all the skills, movies, ect... You quickly lose intrest in the game. Other than that the graphics are beutifull and I simply love the little movie scene where after bashing the brains out of the opponent they go flying through a rock formation, ocean, over a cill, or into an cliff causing an avalanche in the process. Pluss the dificulty in the moves are at a decent level, They're not close to impossible like some of the moves in previous games, (Killer Instinct for example) ever try pulling off the top combo? You'ld have better luck mashing buttons. And they're not too easy like in the mortal kombat games. They're just right, granted some of the moves are hard but with a few rounds of practice you can usualy get them down without a problom. Also I think it was a good idea for them to include all the sagas including the buu saga, even though they messed up on the sayian saga I expect it was just to make deadline and cut costs. Note that DBZ games don't really do so well... even in japan. So give them support and we can expect the creators to turn out even greater DBZ games. The interaction between the characters is amazing for a cell shaded game most of them tend to have the characters pass through eachother giving the enemy enough time to hit you before your attack is completed so I was very impressed with the skin mapping that they applied in this game. Also I'm very happy with the fact that they fixed the small problom with enemies tending to attack before the word fight appears on the screen (remember frieza in the last one... little < remove me > at %$#!*...) Yes I can't stress enough how this game has changed the genre of fighting games, I recomend this game as a must play for all ages.

dragonball z budokai 2 is so cool, it is so cool because you can use fusions like vegitto, gotenks, kibitoshin and two made up ones, gokule and tiencha and you can have the skill of a super sayian 3, also cell and frieza have only their final forms which make them very powerful, you can power up moves by being in a transformed state or if you turn round the analog sticks to fill up the power meter.You can unlock the buu`s and use super buus absorption skill to power up, you can absorb tien and yamcha,gohan (adult),super sayian 3 gotenks,vegeta,cell and frieza, plus you get 2 of their best moves.Dragonball z budokai 2 is the best play station 2 game out of 100% i would give it 95%.In dragon world you go through 9 exciting levels, you can select 1 or 2 allies of your choice from the choices, if what i have said is not impressive enough you can enter the world martial arts tournment and you can be anyone of your choice!, there are 3 levels of the tournment novice,adept and advanced,novice is easy, adept is medium and advanced is hard, novice has 3 rounds, adept has 4 and advanced has 5.

Dragonballz b2 is fun, challenging, yet some times it can be boring.When you first play it, it is awsome, but in a way, it is easier.In No.1,I couldn't do any ultimate moves other than Warp KAMAHAMAHA[!] and such 'cause WK was PPKKE, simple isn't it?!And another thing, in No.1, there was GREAT SAIYANMAN!![Gohan is whack!!]And look here, nothing new!!!Like, the great saiyanman wasn't here when Cell was around!Why can't DBZB2 have SS4 for Goku[kakarot] and Vegeta!!Huh!?My title was based on the most powerful move in the game, Final Explosion!!Only Majin Vegeta could use it and you die after using that move!!But, it is really cool.The move has 3000 points of power in practice!!Isn't that awsome!!Now, my 2 favorite fusions are Vegito and Tiencha.They, my friend, have the best moves, Spirit Sword[which is a copy off of Yu-Yu Hakusho]and Wolf Fane Volleyball Fist!But all the zigzags and moves and all that stuff drive me nuts!And before that you have to get fused!Button combinations and making sure you don't pick the same button as your opponent!It's crazy!The game is still fun, though, even though I have to say Goku is whack of fusing with Hercule.Well, see ya!I have to go and kick Kid Buu's pink butt!Hasta la vista![Calvin Trager-Dragon Ball Z Budokai 2 Champion][Justin Johnson must see this!]p.s.:I hope GT is better.

Sure, Budokai was good, but Budokai 2 is better, although it's missing some vital characters that played in the story, not only in the series but concidering Broly, the other 3 androids that were made, and if anyone remembers the saiyan from the "Tree of Might" and they barely have any moves, if you look at their lists once you've unlocked everything, you'll find that goku only has 3 to 4 moves, the other "Techniques" are Power Ups, from "King Kai Fist x20" to "Super Saiyan 3" and he barely recieves any new moves with his new transformation. As for the fusions "Gotenks" "Gokule" "Vegito" "Kabitoshin" and "Tiensha" they're pretty cool and as for the two fusions that were never real, the creators put a lot of immagination into them. And Last but not least, The "Dragon World" also known as the "story mode" is really good once you start it, but then once you figure out there is only 9 Levels....it's like a waste of time. And then you figure out that you cant buy the Dragon Balls and you gotta go through Story mode every time to get a characters breakthrough...it's truly frustrating, but i did it and i unlocked all the characters and i got every single move. and for those of you who have just started this game i warn you... There are 29 characters total ...that means you gotta go through Story mode 30 TIMES the reason you have to do it 30 instead of 29 times is because you need to get "Babadi's Ship" ...Why? do you ask. because you need "Babadi's Ship" to get Majin Buu, Super Buu, Kid Buu AND super buu's "Absorbtion" move. there is no other way to get that move imluss you use cheats. besides once you beat story mode 30 times ...it's seems pointless to do it anymore, that maked only "Babadi's Ship" and the "Tournament Mode" for you to play, excluding Vs. Mode and Practicee, and those get boring after a while, especially "Babadi's Ship" Once you unlock the Buu's and the super Buu move, you wont want to go back there again...i know i didn't, thats why i'm glad my mom rented the game for me instead of buying it for me. cause renting it and finding out how it is instead of going to buy it first saved her 60 to 70 dollars, and me...it saved me a lot of frustration. yupp....thats all the "Reviewing" i'm gunna do.

Dragonball Z Budokai is a very good game. The graphics are excellent, the music goes well with the story, and the moves are awesome. But the game needs a little more variety though; for example, every character has similar moves. The game would be 100 out of 10 if you could take the moves that they do in the series and use it in the game. Also, I have to admit the graphics are great, but you can at least put bruises and ripped clothing and stuff like that on your opponent to be more realistic, ya know? Honestly, it is my favorite game of all time. The game play is awesome. Also, it is extremely addictive. The first day I started playing the game I did not turn it off ‘till like midnight or a little later. It is a very good game. My all-time favorite attack is Final Flash. My favorite thing in the whole game is the Story Mode. It’s like watching the series itself, but you do the battles. It should be done to every Budokai game released for those who do not know the series that well. This game is extremely original. The battles are fought very differently (in a good way). This is the best fighting game I have ever played. Also, I understand not having much life in the story mode (since you have to be realistic), but in duels against a friend you should have the option of having more life since some death moves makes it less fun since they do massive damage. In addition to that, characters in story mode should not have the same attack and defense power. For example, Goku is 1,000,000,000 times more powerful than Kid Gohan. The powers of characters should be like in the series to make it a better challenge. I must be boring y’all but to summarize it all, THIS GAME IS AWESOME! I recommend anyone to buy this game. You will never grow tired of it! 100% guarantee! Have fun!

that game is the best dbz game i have ever played although i wish it had some more of the original characters in it like zarbon/dodoria etc and also some from the movies im sure you all know brolli cooler super android 13?i mean cmon those were some of the best bad guys in the series even though they werent in the cartoons they were phat as hell.and they took away your ability to play in all the forms of cell and freiza which i thought was a real bummer however i love the way they improved the moves and the graphics way to go there its about time somebody did a dragonball z game right the specials were exallent i hope to see a dragonball budokai 3 sumtime soon i have to say the moves were great but somewhat repetitive but like i said it was an awesome game and me and about 3 million other fans cant wait for the next one.do u know if there even is gonna be yet another sequel to the video game series?if there is i hope they put some of the characters like brolli or cooler in there those r the people i really would like to see in the game and i think almost everyone else would too.but having said that great job on the games so far keep it up!

Excellent game but NEEDS MOVIE CHARACTORS I mean after all Brolly and Gogeta are in Dragon ball Z....may be they are in the game and i just havnt found them yet i dont know but that and i miss the story mode. And i thought it sucked when u had to beat dragonworld a time after time after time to get all breakthroughs but then i found the cheat so that made everything much better but it is a great game that is for sure. I deffintly like how charactors that are related have similar combos. But in the end it is a great game all around especially for the ones that are familiar with the series. i love to play the game with my friends over and over. One thing i would change is to have longer life when u fight your buddies like in dragonworld and to have somekind of super break through with a zenzu bean and all of the moves and attacks. With more life your could have gokus punch and ssj3 gokus punch vary allot more after all he is ssj3 and one punch from him could kill freeza and cell and the list goes on.

When you first play the game you think this is heavi, you're playin out the whole cartoon. all the major characters are there(heroes and villains),and the graphics have improved alot since the first game,also how you gain new skills is a good idea (you either win them in the dragonworld or buy them with money) but when the noveltly of all these things wears off you see that the game is really a basic level fighter.
Gameplay is the main problem as most characters have the same moves(named differently)and the same sequences to perform their special moves, so it takes very little time 2 master every character.The controls are also set so you can only perform certain combinations of punching and kicking, so they start feel really restrictive because theres only so many combos u can do and eventually repetive.Controls are also slow to respond, u move to dodge an attack n ur character fails to move, so this gets annoying.
The story mode has now been replaced with Dragonworld where you basically fight every villain and collect all the dragonballs to make a wish. this idea is good as the wishes allow you to obtain rare skills, but this doesnt replace the cinematic scenes of the first game and a to someone whos never played the game it will seem ridiculous and confusing. (also after you kill Frieza and Cell the third time it starts to pi$$ you off).
World tournament is where you earn money, there are 3 skill levels to choose from basically easy medium hard.this is good because the harder the level you choose the more money make but after you've won thats it, you start again.it would be interesting if you had to defend ur title, or you got a special skill or something but u don't.
After you've finished this game for about the 4th or 5th time you've basically mastered it, which is the problem its too easy, and there arent enuff extras to keep u interested for long so the best advice i can give is to play it on very hard when u buy it n try and complete other wise ull get bored.
i'm a fan of Dragonball Z n i bought it, so obviously other fans are gonna buy this game but if youre looking for a serious fighting game then dont waste ur money, this is a game to rent or to buy ur kid brother.

Well this game is sweet When my bro loaded his vegeta with all this defensive crap Im like still not as good as Brolly hes not in the game though but Brolly is my favorite DBZ Guy then Gogeta But anyway I like shooting Special beam cannon I own Budokai 2 And overall this game is very fun There Is a weird glitch thing I cant remember it very well and we were in like buu saga and they only made it to cell but thats kinda good cause budokai 2 added kid buu super buu and Fat buu I always thought that super buu was the buu that consumed Piccolo ssj3 gotenks and Gohan and The other buu before he consumed them was evil buu But now I got it straight heres what I think Kid buu is stronger then super buu that consumed gohan and ssj3 gotenks and piccolo I think.... O yah Ka...Ma...Ha...Ma...HA!!!!
